Melissa Jane Alford, 46, passed away on August 22, 2022. Melissa was born on November 20, 1975, and she is the daughter of Ronald Gene and Terry Leigh (Sturgeon) Quackenbush. Melissa worked at the Bakery House as a cook. She also loved animals and loved taking care of taking care of them. Survivors include her son, Justin Aaron Gunn of Newburgh, IN; daughter, Olivia Brooke Alford of Evansville, IN; sisters, Christina Jacecvko of Dubois, IN, and Karen Lee of Washington. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Melissa.
