Michael Stokes

Michael Anthony Stokes, age 66, of Vincennes, Indiana, died August 14th, 2026 at his home. Mike was born February 14th, 1960 in Vincennes, Indiana, the oldest son of Frances Stokes.

Mike attended Lincoln High School and Worked at Excell and spent 14 years as a manufacturer. In March 1990, he married Kay Headge. He was a veteran of 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army and served 4 years. He was an EMT in Vandalia, Illinois for 10 years.

Survivors include Three sisters and Five Brothers, Kathy Stokes, April Prater/Bill Prater, John Stokes, Joseph Stokes, Aric Stokes. He was also loved by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by His wife Kay Headge, Mother Frances Stokes, Brother Mark Stokes and Sister Linda Byrns.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Stokes. The Burial will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, at 11 am in Memorial Park Cemetery.
