Nada Diane (Burress) McClure, 79, of Washington, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2026, at Daviess Community Hospital.

She was born on April 25, 1947, to the late Grant Arthur Burress & Betty June (Frederick) Burress-Richardson in Washington.

Diane attended Odon High School, and she was a member of the 1965 graduating class. Following high school, she attended 2 years of college at Olivet Nazarene College. On October 5, 1968, Diane married the love of her life, Dennis Ray McClure, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2022.

Diane and her husband Dennis owned and operated Poindexter-Hall-McClure Funeral Homes for several years before retirement. In her free time, Diane enjoyed crocheting and reading, and most importantly, spending time with her family. She was a member of Washington Free Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; her daughter, Tammy DeAnn McClure Arvin; her parents, Grant & Betty; her brother, Rodney Scott Burress; and her stepfather, Jerome Richardson.

Diane is survived by her son, Stacy Grant McClure and his wife Stephanie; her granddaughters, Madelyn Elaine McClure and Molly Andrea Diane McClure; her brother, Dennis Arthur Burress; her sister, Marsha Lynn (Burress) Overstreet; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Diane will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 1:00-3:00pm ET at Washington Free Methodist Church 1155 Troy Rd., Washington, IN 47501. A funeral service will begin at the conclusion of visitation, beginning at 3:00pm, with Pastor Adam Conder officiating. Following funeral services, Diane will be laid to rest next to her late husband Denny at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon, IN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Operation Christmas Child shoebox event hosted by Washington Free Methodist Church. Donation envelopes will be provided.
