Obituary for Nancy Louann Decker**

Nancy Louann Decker, 70, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 23, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Nancy was born on April 12, 1956, in Vincennes, Indiana to the late Neal and June Collard. Nancy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1974. Nancy married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, Clay Decker, on April 15, 1978, they were married for 47 years and were rarely apart.Nancy was a devoted Christian who belonged to Christ Community Church in Vincennes, where she enjoyed volunteering and singing in the church choir. She worked for many years doing medical billing for Good Samaritan in Vincennes.

 Nancy was a devoted mother to her children, Sarah Decker (Dino Buljubasic) and Colby Decker (Jennifer). She embraced her role as “Grammy” with love and joy, cherishing every moment spent with her granddaughters, Celeste, Isabella, and Sofia. She treasured time working in the garden, doing crafts, antiquing, mushroom hunting, attending concerts with her husband, Clay, and making memories with loved ones. To her family, Nancy was not just a parent or a grandparent; she was a source of unwavering support, an extraordinary example of service and selflessness and an inspiration to all.

 Funeral services for Nancy will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes, Indiana. Family and friends will gather for a visitation at 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, May 29, 2026, to celebrate Nancy’s life and honor her remarkable spirit and the love she shared with all.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Clay, who passed December 27, 2025, and is survived by siblings Linda Shelton, Laneal Edwards and Guy Collard; her children and grandchildren and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
