**Obituary for Norma Lou Myers**

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Norma Lou Myers, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who left us on May 23, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on November 10, 1938, in Loogootee, Indiana, Norma spent her life weaving a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and warmth that touched all who knew her.

Norma was a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant, providing care and compassion throughout her life in the medical field. But above all, she was a fiercely devoted mother to her five daughters, Lisa Foster, Deborah Williams, and Linda Johnson. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, especially during lively cookouts filled with laughter and her favorite tunes playing in the background.

With a green thumb and a heart full of love, Norma had a special passion for flowers. Her garden was a vibrant display of colors, and she was known for her strict "no-picking" policy-a testament to her fiercely protective nature. Many a sunny day found her relaxing on her front porch in Vincennes, Indiana, enjoying the sights and sounds of life passing by.

Norma will be dearly missed by her brothers Gordon, Larry, and Robert Russell, along with all who were fortunate enough to know her. She had a unique ability to boss everyone around with a loving spirit, and her vibrant personality made every gathering brighter.

Funeral services to honor Norma's life will be held in the near future. Details will be shared soon, and we invite all who knew her to come together to celebrate her beautiful spirit and the loving legacy she leaves behind.

In the meantime, let us remember her laughter, her fierce love for family, and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Rest in peace, Norma Lou Myers-you will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Norma was preceded in death by: Vople Russell, Alice Russell, Lorie Davis, Donald Frye, Cathy Richie, Mary Stuckert, Phyllis Dobson, Connie Byrd, Richard Russell, Ronny Russell, Harold Russell, David Russell, Shirley Renyolds, Carol Street. Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Norma and her family.
