Patricia Abegglen, 83, 1900 College Avenue, Vincennes, passed away at 6: 50 p.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at BridgePointe Health Campus. She was born September 27, 1927, in Vincennes, the daughter of Paul and Leah (Trueblood) Manhart. She had worked as a bookkeeper for Valley Electric and was a member of First Baptist Church.Survivors include a son, Paul Phillips and his wife, Debbie, of Vincennes; two grandchildren, Nicholas Phillips and his wife, Sheri, and Janlyn Palmer and her husband, Bill; three step-grandchildren, Elissa Thomann Mitchell and her husband, Ryan, Alison Vieck and her husband Jake, and Lindsey Thomann; three great-grandchildren, Colin Phillips, Isaac Palmer and Luke Palmer.Preceding Patricia in death were her parents; first husband, David Phillips and second husband, Paul Abegglen.Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., with Rev. Dan Clemens officiating.
