Patty Taylor

Patty J. Taylor, 78, formerly of Washington, Indiana passed away August 29, 2025. She was born in Washington, IN on February 19, 1947, to the late Herschel and Virginia (Mallory) Boardman. Patty graduated from Odon High School. She worked for many years as a self-employed custodian, where she would clean condos and homes while she lived in Florida. Patty loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. In her free time, Patty enjoyed walking along the beach, cleaning, and reading. She was also a member of Antioch Bible Church in Washington and Bayshore Church of the Nazarene in Florida. She will be deeply missed.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents Herschel and Virginia Boardman; grandchildren Abby and Annie Armes; siblings Sue Stuffle and Jim (Christine) Boardman; brother in law Charlie Trotter.

She is survived by her children Jim (Shelly) O'Maley, Julie (Chris) Roden, Jacki (Gregg) Perkins; sister Carole Anne Trotter; grandchildren Seth Armes, Carter Armes, Mitchell (Tara) O'Maley, Devin Penn, Allison Swarz, Amber (Tanner) McPherson, Derek O'Maley; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Taylor. There will be no services at this time.
