Peggy Foster

Peggy A. Foster, 72, of Vincennes, passed away Dec. 2, 2014.Peggy enjoyed playing cards and bingo. She was a member of the Bunker Hill Baptist Church, American Legion Auxillary, VFW Auxillary, Vincennes Moose Lodge, and was formerly a member of the Eagles.Born March 1, 1942, she was the daughter of Raymond and Hattie (Bouchie) Howder. Her parents; nine brothers; four sisters; and her husband James Foster, Sr., whom she married May 23, 1960, and who passed away March 7, 2001; preceded her.Surviving are her sons, James Foster, Jr., and his wife, Monica, and Darin Foster, both of Vincennes: a sister, Clara Seals of Vincennes; grandchildren, Savanah Foster, Alicia Foster, and Rachetta Charlton; and three great-grandchildren.The funeral service will be held on Friday, at 10:30, at the Gardner - Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
