Phyllis Anthis

Phyllis Jean (Trowbridge) Anthis, 61, of 803 N. 8th Street, passed away at 9:37 a.m. on February 27, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Phyllis was born on June, 29, 1949 in Vincennes, the daughter of Virgil and Edna (Sandafer) Heuby. Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of the Oasis Church. Survivors include her husband, James David Anthis of Vincennes, IN; daughter, Misty Renee' Trowbridge of Vincennes, IN; sons, Kevin Heuby and his wife Teresa of Vincennes, IN; Dennis Trowbridge and his wife Michele of Bicknell, IN; step daughter, Jessica Anthis of Princeton,IN; step son D.J. Anthis of Vincennes, IN; sisters, Dorothy Griffin of Vincennes, IN; Betty Byrer of Bicknell, IN; Diane Collins of Vincennes, IN; brother, Robert Heuby of Vincennes, IN and 16 grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Marcia Watkins. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with the Rev.
