Rebecca Jo Turpin

Rebecca Jo Turpin, 77, passed away at 8:00 am on April 21, 2025, at Signature North Health Care in Terre Haute, IN. Rebecca was born on August 12, 1947, in Vincennes and is the daughter of Dr. Joseph and Genevieve (Gohring) Humphreys.

Rebecca was a Registered Nurse for over forty years working for Good Samaritan Hospital as well as Good Samaritan Home Health. She was a member of Central Church of Christ where she was very involved in many activities there.

Survivors include her children, Jennifer Cardinal and her husband Jim, Jamey Turpin and his wife Mia, and Dan Turpin all of Vincennes; her siblings, Kathy Blome of Vincennes, Mike Humphreys of Lakeland, FL; her grandchildren, Nathan Smith, Sam Turpin, Brett Turpin, Daisy Cardinal and her great grandson Shepard Smith. She will also be getting two great granddaughters, one in July and the other in August. Rebecca is preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Joseph and Genevieve Humphreys.

Friends may visit with Rebecca's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591 with Pastor Phil Nuernberger officiating.
