It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard P. Cummins, better known as Rich. Rich left us on April 14, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on July 17, 1965, in Vincennes, Rich was the son of Raymond Paul, Sr. and Nancy (Chambers) Cummins.

Rich had a passion for the great outdoors. Whether he was out fishing, riding his bicycle, or tending to his cherished fish tanks, he found joy in the simple things. His love for hotwheels also brought a spark of excitement to his days. Rich was the kind of guy who could light up a room with a smile and make any outing an adventure.

Survivors include his children, Kaitlyn Guyer and her husband Alex of Loogootee, IN, Jacob Cummins of Vincennes, Eli Cummins and his wife Claire of Reno, NV; his twin-brother, Raymond Cummins and his wife Tabby of Vincennes, sisters, Shelly Maurer of Wilmington, IL, Paula Sanders of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Elyse and Mavryk, Eli Jr. Autumn, Aurora, Anna and Amirah...and his fish. Rich is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents, Clebert and Florence Cummins and his uncle and aunt Clarence and Sherry Cummins. 

Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate Rich's life with a visitation from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591.
