Rita Goodman

Rita Ann Goodman, 74, of Bruceville, passed away at 2:40 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Gentlecare.She was born July 22, 1939 in Bruceville, to Fred and Doris Isabelle (Goodman) Schulze.Rita was a devoted member of the Bruceville Christian Church where she had been a deacon and Sunday school teacher. One of her passions was to organize the church Christmas Program and she enjoyed sewing and was a 4-H leader at Bruceville for many years.Surviving is her husband, Dean Goodman; her sons, Mark (Karen) Goodman, and Barry (Theresa Catt) Goodman, both of Vincennes; her grandchildren, Lauren Goodman, Chloe Goodman, and Shelby Goodman; a brother, Donald Schulze of Costa Grande AZ; and a special nephew, James Schulze.Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, Billy and Lyndale Schulze, and a grandson, Collin Goodman.Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Bruceville Cemetery with Glenn Turner officiating.
