Robert Carey

Robert J. Carey, 67, of 501 Hart Street passed away at 4:46 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Robert was born on August 30, 1943 in Carthage, IL the son of Everett James and Erma Madge (Sibert) Carey. Robert was a self employed handy-man. Survivors include daughter, Tabathia Burke of California; son, Robert Aaron Carey of Burlington, Wisconsin, brother; Ron Carey and his wife Linda of Vincennes, IN. Also surviving are 1 niece, Connie Barekman and her husband Paul of Vincennes, IN and 1 nephew Dean Carey and his wife Cherie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Dave Parman officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
