Robert Gene Webber

Robert Gene Webber II, 78, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away on July 10th, 2026, at his home in Vincennes, Indiana.

He was born on August 18th, 1948, to the late Robert Gene Webber and Anita Jane (Umfleet) Webber, in Vincennes.

Robet was a 1966 graduate of Lincoln High School. After graduating, he was drafted in 1969 with the United States Army. On August 4th, 1994, he married Linda (Gail) Webber, and they spend over twenty years together.

Robert will be remembered as a soft-spoken man who loved his kids. He also liked to work with his hands where he would rather do the work himself instead of paying someone to do it. For years, he was a genuine pipe smoker (which all of us kids loved). He was an animal lover, especially his latest dog, Bailey.

Surviving is his daughters, Julie Ann Webber Mikeworth Flat Rock, IL, Nicole Lynn Webber Wooten (Shane) Fritch, TX, son, Chadd Richard Nading (Webber) (Michelle) Adkins, TX, stepchildren, Jayson Young (Michelle) of Dubois, IN, Rhonda Young (Craig Jencik) of Princeton, IN, his grandchildren, Jordan Anderson, Hanna Bice, Harli Robbins, Bailey Simmons, Preston Wooten, Cole Worthey, Mason Nading, Eric Nading, and Christopher Garcia, Jackson Young, Noah McAnelly, Justin Young, Jared Young, several great grandchildren, step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Linda (Gail) Webber, his parents, his siblings and his grandsons Alexander Lee Nading, Conrad Reece Nading and step grandson Keenan Young.

Robert’s last wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread in the Smokey Mountains.
