Ron Ferguson

Ron Ferguson, 82, of Hazelton, Indiana passed away at his residence on September 9, 2025. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on November 16, 1942, to the late Charles and Martha (Reynolds) Ferguson. Ron graduated from Lincoln High School. Upon his graduation, he joined the United States Navy, where he served during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

After his service, Ron began his career in Computer Science, where he built, programmed, and worked on computers. He owned and operated Ferguson Computers for several years before his retirement. When Ron wasn't working on computers, he enjoyed working in construction, playing cards, spending time with his family and beloved animals, and listening to music. Ron will be deeply missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Martha Ferguson; wives Elaine Ferguson and Marcia Ferguson; siblings Charles "Chuck" Ferguson and Linda Swingley.

Ron is survived by his children Tony (Jodi) Koenig, Denise Foster, Cindy (Tim) Kelley, Linda (Alan) Hodges, John (Teresa) Clifford; siblings Judy (Joe) Eagleson and Pam (Randy) Smith; grandchildren Marandia Mickelberg, John Koenig, Kristen Thompson, Mason Thompson, Aiden Koenig, Shanny Passy, Heather Pesapane, Joey Brady , Chris Foster, Brandon Pierce, Sarah Kelley, Jake Kelley, Candy Braget, Susie Ramirez, Eddie Barnhart,Millie Dorson; several great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ron. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.
