Ronald Carey

Ronald J. Carey, 77, of Vincennes, passed away at 12:42 pm Monday, February 4, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born July 28, 1941 in DeKalb, Illinois to James and Elizabeth (Martha) Carey. Ron worked in sales as he started in grocery sales and retired as station manager for the Original Companies. Ron was a member of the First Church of God. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.Surviving are his wife, Martha (Zeigenbein) Carey. Whom he married on April 8, 1989; his children, Cynthia Williams of Indianapolis, Jodi Harle of Indianapolis, Lori Emberton of Parish, FL, Brian Carey of Indianapolis, Kimberly Snyder of Vincennes, Brandon Wheeler of Seymour, and Angie Wheeler of Vincennes; 13 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother James Carey of Kansas; and a sister, Kathy Perkins of Dekalb, IL.Ron's wish was to be cremated.
