Rosie Twitty

Rosie L. Twitty, 84, of 310 W Ewing Ave., Vincennes, passed away at BridgePointe Health Campus on Friday July 25, 2014.She was born September 10, 1929 in Vincennes to John and Eva (Lee) Hefty.Rosie was a homemaker and a member of the Bunker Hill General Baptist Church. She enjoyed mushroom hunting and blackberry picking. Surviving are her children, Rick (Jamie) Twitty of Vincennes and Linda (Scott) Gognat of Bruceville; two grandchildren, Glenna Harrel and Evan Twitty, and a great grandchild, Jessica Harrel.She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior Twitty whom she married on May 27, 1950 and preceded her on June 5, 2008; her parents; a two daughters, Jacqulin Brookheart, and an infant; and her three brothers, Fred Hefty, Tom Hefty, Norman Hefty.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday July 30, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
