Roy F. Theriac, 74, of Decker, Indiana passed away on September 10, 2025. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on November 6, 1950, to the late Edward and Gladys (Killion) Theriac. Roy graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969. He married the love of his life, Linda Lou Daub, on November 27, 1969. Roy proudly served his country in the Army during Vietnam as a crane operator. He worked for many years at PrestoLite Battery and Essex Wire before retiring.

Roy was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren playing sports as well as football and basketball on tv. He will be deeply missed.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Gladys Theriac, and siblings Bill, Willis, Frankie, Bobby, Guy, Earl and Ira.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years Linda Lou Theriac. He had a father's love for Tom (Katie) Froeschke, Mark Gardner, and Mary Sue (Shannon) Pratt. He was Papaw to 7 grandchildren: Ashley, Haleigh, Lauren, William, Trenton, Grady Roy, and Henley Faye; and 2 great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Lianna. He is also survived by his siblings Grant, Bonnie, Flossie, and Elizabeth along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Roy. There will be no services at this time.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Knox County Animal Shelter in Roy's honor.
