Following her tenure at the hospital, Ruth Ann and her husband John opened Myers Flower & Bridal Shop in Washington in 1977. Ruth Ann’s greatest loves in life were her family, her faith, and music. She also enjoyed camping, flower gardening and boating. She loved to travel the country, and her and John were blessed to visit every state in the lower 48. Ruth Ann was a tremendous seamstress and enjoyed doing it. She was involved in every community she lived in and was always busy no matter where she was. One of her favorite things was hosting parties, and throughout the years she made many get togethers special due to her preparation and fun spirit.
