Ryan Patrick Fitzgerald

Ryan Patrick FitzGerald died May 13, 2026. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on January 6, 1997. He is survived by his parents Daniel FitzGerald of Elnora, IN and Kathy (Pea) FitzGerald of Indianapolis, IN, and his sister Kelly FitzGerald of Whitefish, MT. Ryan was loved by a large extended family of uncles, aunts, and cousins who remember his infectious smile, sense of humor with the ability makes everyone laugh.

Ryan is a graduate of St. Matthew School and Bishop Chatard High School in Indianapolis, IN. He played La Cross and Football at Chatard. He attended Vincennes University and received his associate's degree in criminology from Southern New Hampshire University. He moved to Montana and worked in Glacier National Park. His love of the outdoors then took him to Yellowstone National Park where he worked at Old Faithful Inn. He later became a General Contractor in Sedona, AZ. In October 2024 he moved back to Indianapolis and started his own business, FitzGerald Builders LLC, he was a Contractor with a specialty in woodworking.

Ryan loved the outdoors and he was very adventurous. He had an opportunity to travel through Europe and did a medical internship in Romania. While living in Montana and Arizona he spent his free time hiking, skiing, and kayaking.

Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents William and Milly Pea and his paternal grandparents Thomas FitzGerald and Theresa FitzGerald.

The family has planned a visitation with family and memorial for Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes, IN from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. There will be a prayer service at 3:00 PM.
