Susie Hunt

Susan "Susie" Hunt, 67, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away on September 2, 2026. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on August 6, 1959, to the late Charles and Hazel Newberry. Susie worked for many years in environmental services at several of the local nursing homes. In her free time she enjoyed reading, camping, and spending time with her family and animals.

Susie will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Hazel Newberry; siblings Danny Newberry, Johnny Newberry, and Sharon Gerkin.

Susie is survived by her companion Tony Waters; daughter Kim (Rex Aishe) Mitchem; grandchildren Anna, Aaron, and Emily Mitchem; sister Sandy Knippa.

Goodwin Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Hunt. There will be no services at this time.
