Thomas Lyndell Petty

Thomas L Petty, age 56 passed away on July 29, 2026, at his residence. He was born on November 20, 1969, in Hamond Indiana to Linda Petty (Conger) and Thomas L Petty Sr and he survives. He graduated from Washington High School in 1988. He had several jobs during his lifetime, most recently as a coal miner.

He enjoyed baseball, basketball, and football and was an avid Indiana Hoosier fan. He also was an Indianapolis Colts fan. During his younger years he enjoyed bowling and playing softball.

Surviving Thomas are his children (you have their names and locations) Unknown to grandchildren. His brothers Christopher and Adam Conger of Washington, his sisters Patricia Conger (Troy Alvey) and Lori Sours (Josh) of Washington. Nieces include Kenzie Conger, Kayla Conger, Susan Conger, Carlie Mahan, and Jessica Wonder. Nephews include Jacob Pitcher and Josh Frank. Several cousins.

Patrick Conger is also of Washington and an Uncle Tim Petty of Robertsdale, Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his mother Linda S Conger who passed in 2007.

There will be a celebration of life at the Bethany Church in Washington on state road 56 on August 20th from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
