William Palmer

William G. Palmer, 63, passed away at his residence at 1:35 pm on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Bill was born in Vincennes on October 16, 1957 the son of Glenn Palmer. Bill had been a mechanic for many years and most recently worked as a mechanic for Martin Auto in Vincennes. He was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, motorcycles, and riding bicycles. Bill also loved animals and enjoyed taking Aryanna hunting for persimmons. Survivors include his wife; Robin Beamon-Palmer, of Vincennes; step-daughters, Robin Nicole Baker of Vincennes, Vanessa Benjamin, of Bicknell; sisters, Debbie Langford and her husband Bill of Vincennes, Jan Myers of Remlap, AL; his grandchildren, Aryanna Benjamin who he raised, Dahlia Benjamin, Noxsin Benjamin, Cora Baker, Kinsey Baker, Lance Baker, DH Baker; and several nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Palmer; step-mother, Clarice Jean Bledsoe-Palmer; and his sister, Patty Diane Haynes. Friends may visit with Bill's family from 11 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, Gardner-Brockman Chapel, 505 Main St. Vincennes, IN with Rusty Thorne officiating.
